Sir Kalidor's Court #5 DVR CATCHUP 2-21-2010

Welcome to the 5th edition of Sir Kalidor's Court.

Ok work has been crazy this week. Maybe not as crazy as this week in wrestling. My DVR is full of wrestling carnage so lets start with the final episode of ECW. Now everyone knows this is only a name but and the real ECW was gone long ago. I wonder if Dreamer will make an appearance. I have avoided all spoilers all week so lets get it started. I am very pumped about WWE NXT. I must admit that the concept seems pretty smart. The Ultimate Fighter helped me get into MMA. It will be great for "new" guys to bust into the wrestling scene. I know there has been a lot of talk about MIZ being the coach for Bryan Danielson "American Dragon" aka Daniel Bryan. Ok well I am not the biggest know it all about Danielson. I have seen some matches on YouTube and I saw him live a year ago at a ROH show. Yea the guy can work and do crazy stuff in the ring. But he must have the charisma to make a star. I really hope he does I think it would be great for everyone. I know it will probably turn into a nice Kendrick kind of situation but we will see. We all know in today's wrestling world the audience will not respond to only wrestling moves. We must actually care about the matches. Yes I think Miz is rough around the edges but when is out in front of the audience he defenetly gets a reaction. Yea it's a lot of boo's but he's a heel so thats your job. So I am pumped about the show so I will defently be watching that next week.

Before I hit play on my DVR let me say that I haven't watched ECW probably in about a month. So It was defently time to change things up.

Savannah sounds annoying but very hot. MIZ SHOW start off the show.

MIZSHOW vs. YOSHI and GOLDDUST

Well there is no way we see new champs here. Ok I have only seen Yoshi a few times so lets see what he got. I gotta give Golddust credit for still drawing a paycheck. Using some fun double team moves on yoshi. Crowd seems pretty dead during this match. Actually Golddust looks pretty good in the ring. Miz gets the win. Solid match.



Sounds like Tiffany is pretty over. More Hype about NXT

Final Abraham Washington Show. He talks about being a free agent. I am sure that he is more like a "future endeavors" soon. He is his own guest. Golden boy comes out to finally end the madness. Then a bunch of wanna be's come out to talk about free agency. Never saw Kozolov as a face. Pretty horrible segment even with Tony Atlas laughing I guess a way to get more people envolved in the show.



Christian cutting a promo is very good. Talks about the history and stuff needed to be said. You gotta think that Christian will keep the belt.

Christian vs. Ezekial Jackson

Well I don't expect blood but a lot of weapons. Man Jackson is a huge guy. Zak comes out and gets dropped by Christian. I just hate the tights. Chicks come out for stupid spots. Nice spots out here. Regal of course is fun to hate. WOW new champ. I guess he can always claim that. Solid finish for the C show.



Overall just a big hype for NXT which I expected. You gotta think that a lot of these guys will get lost in the shuffle. I would be worried if I was a lot of these guys. Sure some guys will get a small push but maybe its time to reform some tag teams to get a lot of this talent on TV. Good bye ECW sure you were dead a long time ago but now we get to nail that coffin shut.



OK on with TNA IMPACT REVIEW LETS GO!!!!

Eazy E starts off talkin on the phone like a jerk. What's new.

Show clips from the PPV. Pope wins and Jimmy Hart on the PPV. I really think that it is great for them too push the Pope. Just wish Desmond Wolfe would've been in the final. I really think Nigel is awesome. Start the show off with Pope. Coming down to the ring. He makes it rain and grabs the mic. I still hate that ramp coming up to the ring. I am with my man Tito on that. I think you should always be able to walk around the ring. Pope calls out Flair and Styles. I am part of the congregation on this. So here comes Styles with the nasty skanks from Orlando. What a bunch of nasty ring rats. I guess Flair is picking them up at the strip club. Flair starts off the talking of course. Flair is heeling it up. I really didn't think that Flair could still heel it up. He still gets crazy pops. It's good to see Pope stand up to Flair. AJ can't get a word in HA! Start swinging and Flair team up for the beat down.

Wow Dafnney on TV very surprised. Miss Spider Queen comes out.

Tara vs. Daffney

Well I guess this will be a beat down for the champ. Tara should take off her shirt. Ok there we go take it off. Daffney on the attack. Sorry I gotta cheer for goth chicks. DQ with a tool box. Maybe they are gonna push more chicks that can wrestle. That sounds cool to me.



Back with fun with Mick and Eazy E. Well not fun but annoying. Looks like he is a little Dude Love flavor tonight.

Orlando Jordan vs. Samoa Joe

Fun to see that Orlando Jordan has come out the closet. Back behind stage we see Eazy E being a jerk to Joe as usual. Well if Jordan loses to Jordan then they are going to give him a long losing streak. Nice Spine buster from Jordan. He needs to cut his damn hair though. I think I see a lot of Nasty Boy merch in the audience. That is disturbing if they have merch they will be here for a while. I knew it! Orlando pins Joe.



Abyss talks with E. Says he has to take off his mask. We see Christy talk with Eric Young about Kevin Nash. Man I always did like redheads.

X division crazyness... Kazarian + Generation Me + Amazing Red vs. Doug Wiliams + Brian Kendrick + MotorCity Machine Guns

Crazy tags and wrestling. Crowd seems flat but amazing stuff. Williams has a nasty snap suplex. Kazarian looks in shape. I can't believe that Kendrick couldn't make it in WWE. Crowd starts to heat up with crazyness. Carnage. Kazarian with the pin on Williams.



Abyss vs Jeff Jarrett

Jeff comes out with the barbwire bat. Crowd heated up now. Jeff struts for Abyss. Jeff still looks pretty good in the ring. Abyss over the top with the close line. Jarrett into the chair it look like he ate it. Eazy E comes out and I want to punch him in the face. Jeff picks up the bat to finish off Abyss but throws down the bat. THe goon squad comes out to beat up Abyss and Jeff. I hate Wolfe is one fo the goons. Looks liek they are going to take off the match. Hogan comes out to save Abyss and sends him to the principals office.

Beer Money inc. vs. British Bulldogs wanna be... (james storm and Big rob)

Big Rob is the most roided guy in wrestling. Beer Money win after confusion with Big Rob.





Looks like Big Rob gets a singles run. We see Nash sulking in the back.

Hogan yells At Abyss. Hogan gives Abyss his hall of fame ring to give him power to get a back bone. Hogan gives him a pep talk pretty good segment.

Daniels vs. Kurt Angle

I am guessing a nice DQ here. Daniels is pretty much knocking down Kurt. Ankle Lock out of no where. Angle with the win. Quick match. br />


More about a promo for Mr. Anderson. Gets a nice USA chant from the Impact Zone. Angle shoots and talks about getting divorced and getting arrested shows a nice patriot pop. USA chant is very nice. Anderson comes out to be an ass and I really hate him so thats fine. Anderson goes down with the mic to the skull. Man Kurt is gotta be one of the few guys that is the total package in wrestling. Great ability, great on the mic, great everywhere. If he could just keep his life clean he would be aight.

Nash comes out to talk about Scott Hall and Waltman. Nash says he is done with Hall and 6pac. Nash and pac come out and look wasted. Young goes to work on 6 pac. Hall goes dows like a sac of potatoes. Then the lame security comes out to stop the action. Hogan comes out to get some order. Then it just ends. Overall a ok Impact. Gonna have to step it up more to beat RAW though.
